Dr. Scott DelPrete has extensive training working with sports related injuries and traumatic motor vehicle collision injuries. He has worked extensively with high school and collegiate athletes as well as professional and amateur athletes including MMA fighters, boxers, football & basketball players, golfers, cyclists, gymnasts and surfers. His primary techniques include Palmer/diversified, Thompson drop, Activator methods and extremity adjustments.
He is a 2015 graduate of the Spine Research Institute of San Diego (SRISD) earning Advanced Certification in Whiplash & Brain Injury Traumatology. He was the Medical Director for the 2015 Ragnar Relay Series in Angel Fire, NM and served as the only chiropractor for FEMA’s Medical Disaster Team in Florida. Additionally, he was the team doctor for the prestigious Red Hills Cycling racing team. He earned a BA from the University of Central Florida and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University. He is a Board Certified Chiropractic Physician and member of the New Mexico Chiropractic Association. Additionally, he is a Board Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner and Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.
Dr. DelPrete and his wife love snowboarding, swimming, biking, rock climbing, weight training, hiking and most outdoor activities. They are avid dog lovers and are the proud owners of two Westies: Farley and Daisy.
