Here at San Jose Chiropractic Center, we are proud to help our patients live better lives without pain.
We truly believe that nobody deserves to live in pain, even as they age, and we will do everything we can to ensure that our patients are comfortable. We are proud to help people after accident or injuries and when they are uncomfortable doing their day-to-day activities.
Though pain itself is uncomfortable, when you have chronic pain, life can become unbearable. You may struggle just doing your normal day-to-day tasks. You may have trouble concentrating because you are not feeling well.
If your spine is not aligned correctly, you may have more problems than just pain. When your spine is not lined up the way that it should be, it can affect everything that you do. You might have digestive and weight issues, along with many other problems that don’t really seem to be connected at all!
After a thorough examination, your doctor will be able to determine where your problem lies and discuss how we can help you feel better. In many cases, it may just take a treatment or two to resolve your condition. In others, a brief course of 4-6 visits may be required, and in more serious or chronic problems long term care may be recommended along with appropriate exercises. In some cases referral for second opinion with a medical specialist will be discussed. Diagnostic tests may be necessary such as x-rays or MRI scan. However, in most cases this is not necessary. Typically, following chiropractic treatment you will be able to move around better, have less pain, and improved quality of life. Chiropractic care can really make a world of difference to you!
Here at San Jose Chiropractic Center, we have many different services to fit your specific needs. Whether you are experiencing back pain, feeling out of alignment, or just want to get healthier, we can help.
To help all of our patients, we offer the following services:
Chiropractic Adjustments
A chiropractic adjustment can make you feel so much better. Your body does not want to be out of alignment, and that’s exactly what an adjustment can help address. It is also known as chiropractic manipulation, manual manipulation, or spinal manipulation. The adjustment refers to the manipulation of the vertebrae that have abnormal movements and are not functioning properly. A chiropractic adjustment will assist in fixing these issues.
Back Pain
Chronic back pain is one of the biggest problems Americans face today. Back pain actually affects eight out of ten people at some point in their lives. Even though back pain is common, it is not all the same. Many different conditions can cause back pain and cause different areas of the back to hurt. These include sprained ligaments, strained muscles, trigger points, arthritis, ruptured disks, inflamed joins, sport injuries, and many more.
Neck Pain
Neck pain can be caused by many things, including sitting for long periods of time, repetitive moments, automotive accidents, and even falling. Everyday wear and tear can also give you neck pain. During your first visit with us, we will do a thorough evaluation and ask you some questions. Ultimately, we want to find the exact root of your problem. By figuring this out, we will be able to be on our way to getting you to be pain free.
Headaches
Nine out of ten Americans say that they suffer from headaches. Some of these people experience headaches frequently. Some experience constant headaches that are very painful. These can even make a person nauseous. When most people get a pounding headache, they continue on with their day, lie down, or pop a pill and hope for the best. There is a better way!
Corrective Exercises
Corrective exercises can help make any pain that you are experiencing go away and stay away. These exercises will strengthen and correct the irregularities of your body which may be causing your pain. Most of these exercises are able to be performed in the comfort of your own home. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles or connective tissues that are out of place can also cause pain.
Wellness Care
There are so many things you can do to become healthier. Many people think that becoming healthier means salads for every meal and exercising daily. We recommend that you start slow. What is one thing that you are doing every day that you could switch out for something healthier? Could you stop drinking that can of soda for dinner and instead grab a water bottle? Becoming healthier is all about making small changes.
Workers Compensation
Workers’ compensation is a form of insurance that replaces lost wages and pays for medical and chiropractic care for people injured on the job. It typically covers a number of injuries that can happen to nearly any worker. These injuries may occur as the result of a slip and fall accident, tripping over a hazard or on an unsafe surface, or falling off a ladder. For some workers, workers’ compensation will cover injuries that happen while the worker is driving or traveling as part of his or her work duties.
Auto Accidents
An auto accident can cause many different issues. Often an accident can throw your neck, your spine, or even your entire body out of alignment. Our trained professionals are able to work with you to find the exact cause of each of your issues and help you through exercises as well as regular chiropractic care so that you begin to feel like yourself again.
