Paul J. Glodzik, DC

Dr. Glodzik is the Founder and Chief Chiropractor at Washington Injury & Sports Performance Clinic. He has been practicing Chiropractic and Sports Therapy for over 10 years, and is licensed to provide several types of treatment: Active Release Technique (ART), Graston (FAKTR), Dry Needling, Cold Laser Therapy, and KT.

Paul’s lifelong love of sports inspired him treat pain and injury as a Chiropractor. He grew up playing Amherst Knights youth hockey in Buffalo, NY, and continued on to become a SUNY Buffalo hockey player while earning his undergraduate degree. He also began playing rugby at Buffalo, and after moving to DC, played rugby union semi-professionally for the Potomac Athletic Club and league rugby for the DC Slayers. He now plays pick-up hockey in two area leagues and competes in the occasional triathlon.

Dr. Glodzik works with patients who suffer from all varieties of body pain. In 2012, Paul became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician for USA Weightlifting competitions. He has worked with three DC semi-professional rugby teams, DC Triathlon Club, and DC Roadrunners to provide injury treatment, preventative conditioning, and stride technique. Paul has also worked with teen athletes, including as Sports Performance coach with the Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School Football team, Ashburn Extreme Junior Hockey teams, and Virginia Wild Junior Hockey teams.

Paul completed his B.S. at New York State University of Buffalo, and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) from the National University of Health Sciences in Chicago in 2008. While completing his chiropractic degree, he won a pathology fellowship and completed research on the biomechanics of human joints.
