American Chiropractic Clinic was established in Algiers, La (Westbank-New Orleans) by Dr. Marc Behar in 1987. With over 50 years of combined experience Dr. Marc Behar and Dr. John Hawn, have been serving the Greater New Orleans community, freeing thousands of people from pain. The doctors and staff of American Chiropractic Clinic are committed to providing the greatest level of care to their patients.

Our doctors use a whole person approach to wellness. This means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions needed for normal function. • Dr.Marc BeharDr. Marc Behar received his B.S. from Michigan State University and his Doctorate of Chiropractic in1984 from Life Chiropractic College West, Hayward, CA. He opened the American Chiropractic Clinic in Algiers in 1987. Dr. Behar has served on the boards of numerous organizations and has held elective office in Orleans Parish since 1992. In 2012, he was awarded the prestigious ‘Presidents Award’ from the Chiropractic Association of Louisiana for ‘outstanding service to the Chiropractic profession and those we serve.’
