Dr. Gunther earned his undergraduate degree at the University of California at Santa Barbara and in 1995, graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California. He completed his clinical internship with Dr. Leonard Stein, chiropractor for the NBA Golden State Warriors and the San Francisco Ballet Society and began his professional career in a San Francisco Wellness Center. He then practiced internationally for nearly a decade.
Dr. Gunther worked as an integral part of a team of Italy’s leading medical specialists in the 18,000 square-foot Sportlife Medical Center of Brescia. There he collaborated with orthopedic surgeons and medical sports specialists, including the head medical doctor for the Italian National Water Ski Team. He treated a diverse patient base and many types of athletes, including professional soccer and volleyball players, cyclists and water skiers.
Prior to practicing in Italy, Dr. Gunther established and operated a Chiropractic Studio within a Neuromuscular Pain Relief Center in Hong Kong. Conveniently located in midtown Sacramento since 2005, his approach involves active patient participation and combines the best of chiropractic, soft tissue and rehabilitation techniques to help patients achieve a pain-free and healthy lifestyle.
