Dr. Bretow grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Life Chiropractic College in 1981. In December of 1981 he was elected to PI Tau Delta, the International Chiropractic Honor Society.   Dr. Bretow opened and managed two successful Chiropractic Clinics in Seattle, Washington before relocating to San Diego in 1986. In San Diego he opened and practiced at Renaissance Chiropractic Center for 11 years then opened Bretow Chiropractic Center where he is currently practicing.   Dr. Bretow has spent the last 30+ years in private practice and has devoted much time to educating the public about health and Chiropractic. He has presented hundreds of workshops, seminars and classes to many businesses, corporations, hospitals and civic organizations in Seattle and San Diego. Dr. Bretow offers patient and community education workshops and is available to speak to organizations and companies regarding health, safety, exercise and nutrition.  He has also worked with many athletes, including stints as the team chiropractor for Santa Fe Christian football team as well as the San Francisco Giants professional baseball team.   Dr. Bretow has a passion for serving God using his ability as a Chiropractor to serve others. He recognizes that his discipline, prayer and commitment allows God to use him to see his patients’ health restored.   Dr. Bretow would love the opportunity to serve you and your family in helping achieve your health care goals.
