Here at Back to Life Chiropractic we know that the body was created to be incredible.  It is our goal to see people get back to the things they enjoy, the potential they have to share, and the Love they have to give.  We want people to get Back to Life.

We also know that the body will always work far better when the nervous system is doing all that it should.  Understanding that all of the nerves in the body come through that axial skeleton means that we can gently adjust the spine and be effective in getting the communication between the brain and the body firing on all cylinders.

Most importantly we know that the doctor only facilitates the healing process.  It is you and your body that will do the healing.  We understand that you know your body, and we look forward to working with you to achieve optimal health.

Chiropractic Adjustments:

The chiropractor knows that the nervous system controls and coordinates all other functions in the body.  All of the nerves come through the spine and if the spine is not moving or functioning properly, the communication may not be effective.  This can cause some horrible problems.

Chiropractors are specially trained to detect and remove a multi-faceted problem known as a subluxation.  While the term maybe old, the concept is the same. Help the spine move properly and the body will heal properly.  However, it doesn’t stop there.  The spine is surrounded with soft tissue and so making sure that all of it is working in conjunction with each other is the true job of the chiropractor.

Physiotherapy:

At Back to Life Chiropractic and Acupuncture, we know that there are no one size fits all treatments for every condition.  Sometimes a patient needs to rehab a muscle before it is strong enough to use. E-stim is perfect for that situation.  Sometimes a deep heat is needed and ultrasound is the way to go.  Other times the patient just needs to get the injured part moving, so we use active therapy or exercise.  What ever the need, we are equipped and prepared to help you on your journey to optimal health.

Acupuncture:

Acupuncture is more than 5,000 years old.  It was discovered by the Chinese, and has been used in conjunction with a Chinese form of chiropractic since its inception.  The Chinese version of acupuncture and the western concept of “dry needling” are very closely related.  Acupuncture works to balance the energy in the body and tell the body to “heal better”.  It has been used as a way to relieve pain and provide healing for as long as it’s been around.

Radiology:

Not every patient needs X-rays.  However, if you do we have a quick and effective method of taking digital x-rays with near instant results.  It is our goal to value your time as much as we value you.  While the doctor will read most of his own x-rays, he is not so proud to know when he needs to refer to a radiologist for further evaluation.  Regardless of the outcome you are in the best care with a doctor who is willing to work with other providers.

Clinical Nutrition:

In an attempt to treat the whole person we look for the cause of all dis-ease (disease) and injury.  Sometimes the fuel we put in our bodies is less than optimal for the actions we are perform during the day.  Sometimes our genetics put us at a disadvantage and some tweaking to our diet can make all of the difference.  However, we won’t guess.  We will take your labs and find out what we need to do in order to get you working at your peak performance.

Finally, we know that God has a plan, and as an old Chiropractor once said:

“I’ll move the bone and let God do the healing!”
