Since 1999, Dr. Ashforth has been lucky enough to care for patients in the Raleigh, NC area.

His practice has worked with thousands of Raleigh individuals including: RTP computer desk jockeys, weekend warriors, competitive runners and Iron Man athletes, as well as many families, and those injured in auto accidents, helping all of them relieve their aches and pains as well as restore optimal health and wellness.

Dr. Ashforth holds advanced certification as a Certified Chiropractic Wellness & Lifestyle Practitioner (C.C.W.P) given through the International Chiropractic Association and is a member of their Council on Wellness Lifestyle Science.

This certification explored the ways to optimize a patient’s movement and exercise along with providing complimentary nutrition and supplementation protocols to achieve peak functioning and improve quality of life.

Dr. Ashforth is certified in instrument adjusting with the Neuromechanical Impulse Adjusting Instrument.

Chiropractic Journey

Dr. Ashforth has now spent over 25 years helping people lead healthier lives.

 He worked during high school in health clubs teaching people the value of exercise and the ways to get the best results from their efforts. He attended West Virginia University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology, where he worked with elite college athletes helping them reach peak performance.

Dr. Ashforth attended Life University School of Chiropractic outside Atlanta, GA. During the four years of training, he studied extensively in anatomy, human physiology, biochemistry, and neurology. Dr. Ashforth graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1995 and earned a Clinical Excellence Award for his intern work. After graduation, he spent three years in Hilton Head, SC. His practice there consisted of many families, as well as senior PGA Tour professionals and world-ranked tennis professionals.

Outside The Office

Dr. Ashforth is married to his wife Sunni and they have two amazing children, Alec a soon-to-be Duke University graduate, and Sky an N.C. State undergraduate. In his free time, you can find Dr. A. exercising, reading, running, or watching his West Virginia Mountaineers football team.
