Dr. Reiff was born and raised as a good, ol’ small town Midwestern boy in the great dairy state of Wisconsin and spent much of his childhood playing sports and engaging in outdoor activities. In high school, Dr. Reiff was a first team all-conference/area and state level athlete in track and football, earning multiple MVP, captain, and league championship awards while maintaining top honors grades.
Being born into a family of engineers, it was natural for Dr. Reiff to pursue a branch of health care that focuses on the inner workings of the human body. After becoming a Golden Gopher at the University of Minnesota while studying nutrition, Dr. Reiff entered a very rigorous dual degree program where he received a Doctorate of Chiropractic (DC) and Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) at the Southern California University of Health Sciences. During his graduate training, Dr. Reiff quickly developed an interest in manual therapy, rehabilitation, pain science, and sports medicine— while being strongly influenced by giants of the fields such as Maitland, Lewit, McKenzie, Liebenson, Butler, and Shacklock.
It is important to understand that most neuromusculoskeletal (nerves/bones/muscles/ligaments/tendons) conditions can be successfully treated by conservative care (e.g. exercise, diet, movement, education, chiropractic, acupuncture, physical therapy).
