Dwight P. Moyer, DC

Dwight P. Moyer was born in 1957 and grew up in San Antonio, Texas.  He attended Rice University on a football scholarship with identical twin brother Dwane, graduating with a business degree in 1979.  He then moved to Oklahoma City the summer of 1979 where he met his wife Lisa, a 1979 graduate of Oklahoma City University.  Dr. Moyer has three children, Natalie, a pilot in the Coast Guard; Gabriel, on a football scholarship at Tulsa University; Victoria is pursuing a BS nursing degree at Emporia State.  Dr. Moyer worked as a sales rep in the oilfield industry from 1979 to 1989 at which time he went to Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, Missouri.  He then moved back to Oklahoma City in 1993 and has been in practice here since then. 

He practices several methods:  diversified, Thompson, activator, Cox Technique, Nimmo and acupuncture.  Therapies include ultrasound, traction, interferential current, muscle stim, cold laser, soft tissue and vibration massage.  Most insurances are accepted and his patients include individual/family care (adult and children), automobile accidents, workers comp and sports injuries.  Cases seen are headaches, neck pain, back pain, disc injuries, scoliosis, whiplash, arm or leg pain/tingling or numbness, golfers rib, sprains/strains and slip and fall.  He has x-ray on the premises and the patients can be seen the same day they call.  Dr. Moyer treats each patient with an individual treatment plan.  The patient is evaluated weekly and he does not promote lengthy treatment plans.
