Acorn Wellness Center is the result of the long-time vision of Elon Bartlett, who had been in practice in Berkeley for 7 years. His goal was to serve everyone looking for increased health and vitality while also being a one-stop shop for holistic pre-natal needs.

He fulfilled his dream October 1st, 2009 by moving to a larger location in Oakland that he designed from the ground up to be a family-friendly environment. The entire space is on the ground floor for stroller-accessibility, the waiting room boasts toys and kids books and there is a baby-changing table in the bathroom.

His wife, Kati Bartlett, helped him start the office, bringing on board her considerable talents as an office manager and making it a family business. As a reflection of their values, they are respecting the earth’s resources by conserving energy and reducing waste, and are certified as a Green Business through the Bay Area Green Business Program
