Dr. Kurt Price grew up in the Quad Cities in Northern Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree from Augustana College in 2001 where he double majored and double minored in Pre-Medicine/Environmental Biology and Biochemistry/Political Science (Pre-law) and played NCAA baseball as well.
Dr. Kurt was involved with the Sports Injury Club and the Christian Chiropractic Association. In 2004 he went to Vietnam as part of his internship and worked in the hospitals providing care for underprivileged people. Dr. Kurt attended Palmer College of Chiropractic where he received his doctorate in 2005. He graduated with honors Cum Laude.
Before graduating, Dr. Kurt participated in a four month preceptorship in Memphis. He immediately fell in love with the South and decided to join the practice where he served one year as an associate doctor. In 2006, he became partner of the clinic. He is a member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association where he was elected the Government Relations Director in 2006, as well as the 2007 District IV Board Director. He served five years on the board. He’s also on the board of directors at Praxis Bible College and currently speaks nationally and internationally about health and wellness. Dr. Kurt was awarded Chiropractor of the Year, which is a national award in 2007 and was chosen as Tennessee’s Young Chiropractor of the Year in 2007. In 2010 he was awarded Chiropractic Hero of the Future and North American Chiropractor of the Year in 2011.
After practicing in Memphis for four years, he decided to move his clinic to Arlington, TN. He’s proud to be a part of such a great community and have such wonderful patients and staff. His philosophy is God. Family. Chiropractic. and takes pride in running a Christian based family practice. He enjoys being outdoors and loves to fish, hunt, and golf. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his family and being a member of River City Church.
Dr. Kurt is married to the love of his life, Angela. They have two children, a fourteen year old son named Kaleb and a ten year old daughter named Kyra. He feels family is very important and that is why he is so passionate about being a family wellness doctor and engaging with so many wonderful families in the Memphis area. His key to success is Matthew 6:33 and his purpose is to ‘help and serve’ so that everybody reaches their full God given potential.
